Director of campus ministry, Jennifer Seaich, is an Idaho native, having grown up in Twin Falls. She holds a B.A. in English and Religious Studies from the University of Montana and an MDiv from Yale University Divinity School. Along with her ministry at St John’s, Jennifer is active in the Portneuf Interfaith Fellowship and the Diocesan Lay Ministry Council, as well as the National Association of Lay Ministry. She is an avid volunteer and has been active in labor and community organizing and social justice advocacy.
Favorite Book: Too many to name (aside from scripture, of course). Classic lit, history, theology, mysteries, some sci-fi and fantasy.
Favorite Food: Indian, Mexican, Italian… Vegetarian.
Favorite Color: Blue
Favorite Smell: Rain, baking, the garden
Favorite thing to do to relax: Play with the dog, go for walks (also with the dog), read (the dog is there too).
Favorite Show: Buffy, Battlestar Galactica, Firefly, Flight of the Concords, Rome
Favorite Thing about St John’s: Being able to work with these wonderful students and knowing what a difference they will (and already do) make in the world
Owen Seaich's bio:
Owen is a two-year-old standard poodle and was born in
Montana. He has been through several obedience classes and is certified as a “Good Citizen” therapy dog. He likes long walks, playing with other dogs, squeaky toys, chewing rawhide bones, and meeting new people.
Favorite Food: Dog food. Liver treats. Rawhide bones. Any human food he can get.
Favorite Smell: Other dogs, food
Favorite thing to do to relax: Play, go for walks, chew a rawhide, jump into water
